At Kelplant we make two products, the Seabasket®, and Kelcover®. The Seabasket® is an all natural hanging planter basket and Kelcover® is a unique ground cover and soil topping. Both products are made from the root ball of giant sea kelp. These root balls are not harvested from live kelp, but are gathered after large swells tear them from their rock-bound moorings a hundred feet below on the sea floor.
